Our story
A hosting business, not a tour company.
Visit Waiheke Experiences grew from a simple idea: that the best way to discover Waiheke is with someone who truly knows the island.
We wanted to use our many years of local knowledge to offer something more personal than simply driving you from one scheduled stop to another. That is why our signature experiences are designed privately for two, with your own local host and vehicle, giving us the freedom to shape the day around you.
Good hospitality is about more than following an itinerary. It is about getting to know what interests you — perhaps exceptional wine and food, a sense of adventure, discovering somewhere off the usual route, or simply slowing down and enjoying Waiheke's beaches, vineyards, restaurants and local stories.
With just two guests, we have the flexibility to take our time, change direction and share the places and people we have come to know over many years on the island. It is your Waiheke experience, and our role is to make it memorable.
For families, our EcoZip & Private Waiheke Experience can accommodate two adults and up to two children, combining adventure with a privately hosted introduction to the island.
