Island Direct ferry departs Downtown Auckland
Pre-book the 1:15 p.m. Island Direct ferry from Pier 13 at Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal. Ferry tickets are not included.

Meet your private host at Matiatia
Your host will meet you at Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Your overnight luggage will travel securely in your private vehicle while you explore.

Allpress extra virgin olive-oil tasting
Begin at Allpress Olive Groves with an included tasting of locally produced extra virgin olive oils.
Afternoon
Waiheke’s quieter eastern countryside
Travel beyond the island’s busier western end into rolling countryside and quieter eastern vineyards—an area many standard tours do not reach. Along the way, your host will share Waiheke stories, vineyard knowledge and scenic places away from the busiest visitor routes.

First personalised wine tasting
For your eastern-end tasting, choose from Jasper Ridge Estate or Passage Rock Vineyard, subject to opening days, travel time and availability. Your host can help select the vineyard best suited to your preferences.
Approx. 4:15 PM
Second wine or craft-beverage tasting
On the way back, stop at either Awaroa Organic Winery or Alibi at Tantalus Estate, subject to availability. At Alibi you can share a Tantalus wine tasting, an Alibi craft-beer paddle or a combination of wine and beer.
Approx. 6:00 PM
Cable Bay platter and evening views
Arrive at Cable Bay Vineyards, whose elevated west-facing position offers expansive views across the Hauraki Gulf toward Auckland. Enjoy an included shared charcuterie platter and time to linger over the view as the evening unfolds.
Evening
Optional dinner and private transfer
A dinner upgrade can be arranged in advance, subject to restaurant availability. We apply the value of the included platter toward dinner; you pay the additional dinner cost and any beverages. When you are ready to leave, your private transfer will take you on to Matiatia Ferry Terminal or your Waiheke accommodation — for overnight guests, Palm Beach Tranquil B&B or equivalent.
